Executive PA to the Executive Director(Permanent)

The South African National Space Agency (SANSA) is a public entity under the National Department of Science and Innovation (DSI). SANSA has a mandate to drive the promotion and use of space and cooperation in space-related activities. The successful candidate will ensure that the Executive Director has excellent, effective, and diligent administrative and secretarial support. The role requires an excellent organiser and communicator with a proactive and friendly attitude, and a high degree of emotional maturity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma or certificate or equivalent SAQA level qualification in an administrative profession

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a PA to a Senior Manager or a Secretarial/Administrative role

• Excellent communication skills in English, including business writing skills

• Conflict handling skills

• The ability to optimally manage workloads

• A positive attitude

• Innovative thinking skills

• The ability to interact at all levels

• Excellent computer skills in MS Office

• The professionalism to handle sensitive / confidential information discreetly

• The ability to take initiative

• Good problem-solving skills.
